Requirements

Open to anyone eager to expand their project management skills and make great connections. You’ll need: Laptop/Desktop | Internet | 15 mins daily commitment to stay on track.

Key Timelines

Registration Deadline: June 12, 2025
Kick-off: June 23, 2025
Finalists Announced: August, 30th.

How does it run

  • The internship runs on Slack, with interns split into groups and rotating weekly leadership by ballot. Each group works on a capstone project for the full 9 weeks. Every two weeks, we hold All-Hands sessions.
  • Group leaders act as the link between their team and a mentor, building teamwork and accountability—key skills in project management.

How is the workflow

  • Weekly homework and tests drop every Sunday at 10 PM GMT and are due by Thursday at 10 PM GMT.
  • Mentors check in and guide. Interns work through and submit tasks independently.
  • Interns scoring below 70% are notified and removed on Saturday; only successful interns move to the next week.

  • Collaboration: Google Workspace tools
  • Project Management: Trello, Loom, Slack, Wrike, Excel, etc.
  • AI and Basic Data Skills: Julius.ai, ChatGPT, etc
  • Design: Canva

Terms of Participation

Participation in the Internship Programme does not constitute employment with ABPMX. However, only finalists who receive a Certificate of Completion may list ABPMX Internship on their LinkedIn profiles or CVs. Upon successful completion, you will also be added to ABPMX’s alumni pool of ready-for-hire project managers.
